I Have a Roll of Officers , Non-Commissioned Officers & Men Of The 1st/4th Oxford & Bucks Light Infantry from 08/04/1915 to 20/10/1918 That were killed during this time

I was very interested to see your post re OX/Bucks and to see of your connection to the Bucks Btn. I am a collector of the Ox/Bucks especially B/Btn. I have a casualty pair to 3149 Com. Sgt. Maj. Arthur Brown 2/1st Bbtn, also from the Lee

Buried at Boulogne Eastern Cemetery plot VIII.A.79

Enlisted at Filkins Oxon

Age 39

Husband of Harriet Adams

Of St. Cross Cottage .

St. Cross Road

Oxford

1387 of 1st/4th O.B.L.I.

Died and buried at Ploegsteert

The son of Thomas Mitchell of Spelsbury, Charlbury, Oxon.

And is now on the Ploegsteert Memorial to the missing

Born in Reading

Enlisted at Charlbury

Residence at Spelsbury
