Some histories have a roll of the fallen in them, and if this one does, your man might be in there. This would not give his burial location, though. Oh wait, what's this? British National Library Jens also recommended checking with the Staatsarchiv Freiburg for his records (Stammrollen-Auszug): Staatsarchiv Freiburg In the absence of other avenues, these two leads seem like good next steps.
