I tend to hold what people write on fleabay with a hint of scepticism until I do a little research.

In this case, it seems as though Michael Jones was awarded the 1914-15 Star trio for service with the mentioned regiment on the Western Front. He was also awarded the Silver War Badge after being discharged from the Army in November 1915. He was no longer physically fit for war service. All of this is mentioned in the listing by the member.

Even though his Pension Record is a shambles, it does state that he died, but not how. It is written that he was suffering from TB and Dementia. I have had to go back and forwards quite a bit to try and work this thing out.

He may well be a non-com, of which further research will be required, including his death certificate.

Clear as mud really. Cheers Andy.

Aggravated is sufficient, assuming TB was also the cause of death.
