I know that 4th RWF TF colours are at St Giles, Wrexham, and the 14th at St Deiniol Cathederal Bangor. Where did the others go?

TIA

Is it just the 4th's colours that are at St.Giles? I'm sure I've seen more there - poss. early Kitchener units, Garrison Battns. etc.

Bangor Cathedral may also have some, as probably does St.Asaph Cathedral.

The 15th (1st London Welsh) and possibly the related 18th (2nd Lond. Welsh) (Reserve) Battn. colours may be at the London Welsh Club or so I've been told.

Just in case anyone's interested - the 16th is at St Asaph Cathedral. Anyone near said fair city likely to pop in and see if there are any others there?

If you can get hold of the following book it should help....

Colours of British Regiments (v. 2)

Units Raised During World War I

James Douglas Geddes

ISBN: 9780953785803

Format: Hardback

Publisher: James Douglas Geddes

I managed to get it through inter-library loan a year or so ago and it lists where the colours ended up.

Regards

Steve
