Remembered Today:

Skoda 77mm

Anyone know where I might see a picture of a Skoda 77mm as used by the austro-hungarians and (apparently) the Turks? Not having much luck online with my useless search skills.

Here is the carriage for the self propelled version.....straight off of the production line.

With apologies in advance for any offence caused:

Serves you right for letting your wife have the keys. ;-)

Great picture. Obviously your search skills are better than mine.

Hello,

According to the material I have, the Austrians did not have a 7.7cm gun. Their standard field artillery piece was an 8cm and there were mountain guns with calibers of 7cm and 7.5cm. I have photos of some captured Austrian guns, photographed during the period in the collection of the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. What is your interest?

Regards,

Chip
