geraint Posted 22 November , 2010 Share Posted 22 November , 2010 I've tried CWGC under all sorts of permutations and dates. Only one Treharne seems to come up - and it's certainly not my man. He is entered on the local memorial under the name given above. Local newspapers and family state that he died age 31 on 14th July 1916 and is buried at Bertrancour Cemetery. Any suggestions folks? geraint Posted 22 November , 2010 Author Share Posted 22 November , 2010 Thanks Neil. I took the name from the memorial as being correct 'carved in stone' as it were! OOOPS! Sorry Terry!
petli Posted 4 November , 2013 Share Posted 4 November , 2013 Hi Geraint. I was wondering what your connection might be to Peter Edward Thomas Trehearne (as recorded on his Mothers gravestone in Llanfwrog Churchyard). His mother being Mary Trehearne nee Foulkes / Ffoulkes born Llandyrnog of Bridge House, Ruthin. Regards P.T. Trehearn.
