Enoch

What was his Labour Corps number?

If you are lucky it may let me identify when he was transferred and which Company.

I am afraid I know little of the medal rolls but from earlier items on the forum I think you will find that they may help.

Enoch,

Sorry I cannot link him to a specific Labour Corps company.

The number means he was transferred to the LC during 1917, probably in the early autumn.

The majority of men I have come across with numbers close to his were in UK based companies, often Agricultural Companies.

Have you checked to see if his service record is at the National Archive?
