Nigel Marshall Posted 14 November , 2010 Posted 14 November , 2010 Hello Roy, He won his DCM as a soldier with the Monmouthshire Regiment attached to the RE. Here is a link to the London Gazette entry. If you search the NA MIC s you'll find his card bearing both service numbers. Cheers, Nigel
Pighills Posted 14 November , 2010 Posted 14 November , 2010 William Morgan was issued with two medal index cards. On one of them it also gives his second regiment as the Monmouthshire Regiment with a regimental number of 497. Try looking for his DCM using those details - if you have access to ancestry the DCM quotation can be found there. Snap Nigel!

Nigel Marshall Posted 15 November , 2010 Posted 15 November , 2010 You're welcome Roy, The London Gazette can be a real pain sometimes, even when you have all the details to hand. Cheers, Nigel
