Have received a query from someone and will put the letter in full below:

"I had left to me a medal from a relative, the wording on the back

For Duty Done

Presented by

RVE (or RYE) Friends

To

TPR AM Robertson

For Service Abroad

1914 AIF 1919

Would you know what the RVE (RYE) stands for ?

The medal is on a chain and I often wear it and, of course am asked about it"

I think the person is 2887 Arthur Milton ROBERTSON Tpr 3 Light Horse Regt but am at a loss to the possible group(s) that would have produced this medal. Any help appreciated.
