Tim Birch Posted 11 March , 2003 Share Posted 11 March , 2003 If Private Condon's age is now refuted - see separate thread on this subject - who is considered to have been the youngest British soldier to die on the Western Front? Tim
iain mchenry Posted 11 March , 2003 Share Posted 11 March , 2003 Tim, Being that I am stationed in Kosovo at the moment and am miles from my WW1 books, I seem to remeber a dedication at the beginning of a Spagnoly/Smith "Salient Points" book to a 13 year old South African soldier killed in France. Perhaps any other Forum users with closer access to these books than me could verify or correct me on this. Regards Iain
