CROONAERT Posted 11 March , 2003 Share Posted 11 March , 2003 There's a few interesting anecdotes about both camps (one story involves both) in Robert Jackson's book, "The Prisoners 1914-18". There is also a transcript of a (1917 ,I think) report into conditions inside Clausthal in the Harz mountains. The commandant of this camp doesn't exactly strike me as a very charitable soul! Dave.
