Robert Dunlop Posted 3 September , 2010 Share Posted 3 September , 2010 Thank you, Wendy. My Grandfather left New Zealand in an earlier group of reinforcements. Great to see examples of what he would have done in the lead up. Wonderful to see the Rimutakas again, even if in black and white. Robert

Wendy Macpherson Posted 2 January , 2011 Author Share Posted 2 January , 2011 No 1 Platoon, A Company, 19th Reinforcements This same image is on the Wairarapa Archives web site and notes that this could be an image of the reinforcement march over the Rimutakas, I'm doubtful about this as it rained for the two days that the men marched the Rimutakas and in all the other images the men are in wet weather gear. So whereabouts and exact date unknown, other than 1916.
