Chris Talbot Posted 7 June , 2004 Share Posted 7 June , 2004 Greetings and salutations all I am researching my wifes grandfather William Robert Richards (43609) of the 19th Bn Durham Light Infantry and died of wounds on the 24th August 1917. At the time of his death he was attatched to the 1st Canadian Railway Company. William's records state that he died of wounds recived in action, the information I'm seeking relates to the activities of !st Canadian Railway Company on and around the 24th August 1917. Thanks in advance Chris Talbot
