One shows the wood itself and the other (just behind the same position) a concrete gun position with its opening facing in the direction of the wood. Guest Posted 25 May , 2018 Share Posted 25 May , 2018 Hello, first post here but I’ve just found some old panoramic photos of the Adinfer Wood front line ( I suspect? ) from 1916, official army photos, it’s about 4ft long and also shows the German front line in front of the Monchy - Ransart road, will try and post them up over the bank holiday, they have been rolled up for probably 90 years so difficult to photograph!
