armourersergeant Posted 3 June , 2004 Share Posted 3 June , 2004 Do we have an expert on 24th div at loos or more correctly info regarding the commander Major-General Sir J G Ramsey. He appears to have been relieved/removed from command around the 3rd october 1915. In early Nov Forestier-Walker was sent home. Cant help thinking that both men suffered the fate of the failure at Loos that was not really their fault. Does anyone know if Ramsey was wounded etc or just sent home. regards Arm.
