Tasape Posted 4 July , 2010 Share Posted 4 July , 2010 My grandad was wounded and sent to Roseneath hospital Wrexham in October 1918. Does anyone have any ideas on what sort of wounds were treated there, and is there any records available to view? Thanks Martin
Hywyn Posted 4 July , 2010 Share Posted 4 July , 2010 Martin Welcome/Croeso to the Forum. Material regarding Denbighshire Hospital held at Ruthin Archives can be found here http://www.denbighshire.gov.uk/EC/place&am...&Expand=7#7 There doesn't seem to be anything jumping out regarding that particular Hospital. Admission Registers for Croesnewydd are there and I have details of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers contained in them. The miltary patients were treated for the whole range of admissions from war wounds to run of the mill conditions. If you want to provide your grandads particulars (number if you have it) then possibly someone may have a bit more info for you Hywyn
