I thought I would be able to find more information on ancestry.com--but cannot find him.

Thanks for all the information--I was already aware of his brother and that they were Shankill Rd men.

I thought I would have found him on ancestry in Royal Naval Division caustlies--they usually give added "bits of information" .

He did not serve in the Royal Naval Division. If you have information to the contrary, please let me know.

Some, but not all, men from the Royal Marine Light Infantry served in the Royal Naval Division thousands served at sea, some in the air and others in other theatres. The RM medal rolls are online.
