Cavalry Barracks, Ypres

Anybody know where the Cavalry Barracks in Ypres was located in 1915? Are there any traces remaining today? Any photos?

That was in the southwest part of town, in the square formed by the streets Zaalhof, Wateringstraat, Tegelstraat and Ieperleestraat, a little northwest of the Lille Gate.

Somewhere I must have a photo. If I can find it ...

Thanks for that, I'm a little confused though was the Cavalry Barracks the same place as the school in the thread you qouted?

Yes, the same. Cavalry School and Ecole d'Equitation (French for Horse Riding school) was the same, as far as I know. There was also an Infantry Barracks, a bit more north in town.

As to the thread I gave a link to. Don't be misled. In that Topic someone thought that the Cavalry School was de same as the Ecole de Bienfaisance or Weldadigheidsschool, which was a little eastnortheast of town, outside the ramparts, where now the water tower is. But that was wrong. So I corrected that and gave a street plan of Ypres, marking the Cavalry School.
