Shell cartridge markings

Hello

could anyone give me some help with the various markings on the following 6 pounder shell cartridges please?

A minor point John, but "C.F." is "Cordite Full Charge" as opposed to "R" for reduced charge. See "Ammunition Markings 1918"

Just to clarify further, are they both of Great War vintage?

According to my Treatise of Ammunition I quote The letter "C" if cordie or ballistite is used,"P" if powder; followed by an F or R for each time the case has been filled with a full or reduced charge; F od R barred out means that the case has been emptied without being fired.

Indeed John that is so. If it is stamped "C.R." it is still cordite filled but with a reduced charge. The "F" stands for "Full" not "Filled" is what I was trying to say.
