Guest Barbara Posted 31 May , 2004 Share Posted 31 May , 2004 Thomas William King was in the Bantams of the Suffolk Regiment when enlisting from Bermondsey/Rotherhithe area in October 1915 as far as we know.He was 5'2" tall and was aged 21 years in 1915.After sustaining terrible injuries soon after entering France in 1915/1916 he recovered and was in the Labour Corps for the rest of the war.I can find nothing concrete at all about him or the unit. The war medal rolls tell me only that he served with the Suffolk Regiment in France but there are no other details or dates.
