Alan Tucker Posted 9 June , 2010 Share Posted 9 June , 2010 On a service record of a RGA man there is a reference to 98 HAG possibly linked to 49 Company RGA at Catterick Bridge. Anyone know what this means?

ianjonesncl Posted 9 June , 2010 Share Posted 9 June , 2010 49 Company RGA are shown on the LLT and confirmed with Army list 1914 as RGA No. 49 Company ; Queenstown Harbor. South Irish Coast Defences. Many of the RGA companies of the coastal artillery formed the nucleus of new siege batteries which were subsequently deployed to France.
