If you are still looking for evidence of the posters use there are a couple of photos of the entrance gateway to Chester Castle home of the Cheshire Rgt dated 1915 which show it. They are in Images of England The Cheshire Regiment compiled by Dr Ronald Barr page35 and Chester vol 2 portrait in old picture postcards by Goulborn and Jackson page 107.
