Beauvais Airport to Albert/Amiens

Hi guys,

I`ll be arriving at Beauvais Airport next month. This is my 1st time going to Albert via Beauvais. My question is do i still have to go through Paris Nord - Amiens then Amiens - Albert ? Is there an easier way to get to Albert ? I don`t drive so any help would be much appreciated.

Hi John,

I'm not sure about times or fares but I think you can get to Amiens from Beauvais Train station. It's about 15 minutes in a taxi from the Airport to the station, again I'm not too sure of the cost.

I had a quick look at the SNCF site voyages-sncf.com & there does seem to be plenty of trains although some would appear to bring to you Paris first to get the high speed train.

Beauvais - Creil - Amiens is a possibility and then Amiens to Albert.

It's not exactly a high speed service but must save time on the Gare du Nord version.

Beauvais to Creil around 40mins. Creil to Amiens around 40mins.

There's a shuttle bus from the airport to the station at Beauvais. Timetable here. Journey time 20 minutes, fare 4 euros.

And if you've time in Beauvais, look into the cathedral. Just step in the door and let your eyes go up. Amazing

I spent a lot of time at Beauvais some years ago, working at the Massey Ferguson factory. Nice town.
