In remembrance of R.Adm. Horace Hood, Comdrs. Robert Lewellyn and Lionel Shore, Bandmaster 1/c George Deacon, Stoker John W. Wood, and all the other poor devils from both sides who went West at Jutland, 94 years ago today.

and all those on HMS Queen Mary - including my great-uncle Midshipman Philip Reginald Malet de Carteret, heir to St Ouen's Manor in Jersey (A turret - aged 18) and all his comrades - including Archibald Dickson and Humphrey Durrant(dow 6th June?) - a survivor was Midshipman Jocelyn Storey (where are his relatives?)

and all those German sailors too

Always remembered
