iain mchenry Posted 31 May , 2010 Share Posted 31 May , 2010 Change at Kortrijk or Menen. About 90 mins in total. Or get the bus to Rosalaere and get said train from there. Regards Iain
Muerrisch Posted 31 May , 2010 Author Share Posted 31 May , 2010 thank you: all I can come up with is the bus for the second part of journey! Not the preferred option, I have an elderly guest.

jainvince Posted 31 May , 2010 Share Posted 31 May , 2010 Grumpy I find the deutschebahn site pretty good for most European Jpourneys. http://www.deutschebahn.com This page gave me the times of trains from Ieper to Brugge. No doubt it will tell you reverse times, fares etc. http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe...=1&OK#focus jainvince
bierlijn Posted 31 May , 2010 Share Posted 31 May , 2010 Iain is quite right about the bus to Rosalaere and then the train. The bus goes from the concourse in front of Ieper station, and wends its way to Rosalaere station through the battlefields and is far more scenically splendid than the train. Muerrisch Posted 1 June , 2010 Author Share Posted 1 June , 2010 One of my party would not like a bus: lack of, er, er, facilities! Thanks to all, will take train to Kortrijk, wait 39 mins then train to Brugges.
chrisharley9 Posted 1 June , 2010 Share Posted 1 June , 2010 Brugges station is some distance from the town, but there is bus service from the station to the market place Chris
