MelPack Posted 26 May , 2010 Share Posted 26 May , 2010 I have just stumbled across what is described as the "Gateshead, Durham, England, Roll of Honour 1914-1920" on Ancestry. It is in fact a scrapbook of clippings from the local press on various soldiers and, as you would expect for the locality, a large number of them are DLI and NF. For those with an Ancestry subscription, the scrapbook can be found here: http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=1641 There is lots of fascinating material and hundreds of photographs of individual soldiers.
