Moston Posted 24 May , 2010 Share Posted 24 May , 2010 'Stow Curator' is rushed off his feet at the mo' with radio interviews etc - so I've put this on here on his behalf. After a very difficult last 12 months - we are pleased to announce that the Museum building will be open to the public as from 1st June 2010. Because the majority of the 80+ acre site is still technically a 'building site' as more areas begin there restoration...we are unable to 'open the gates' to the public without prior arrangement. IF YOU WANT A VISIT...please contact Ivor Dallinger (curator) via the www.stowmaries.com website to arrange a good time to pop in. The museum will house plenty to wet the appetites of your average WW1 aerial buff - with the promise of more to come as more buildings become available. The dream is becoming a reality. If you're on Facebook - our 'Stow Maries Aerodrome' page is fast becoming the most popular way of staying in touch with immediate updates....join !
