Hello all,

does anybody know whether Isabelle, late of the de la Paix, opened her cafe in Amiens as I had read she might ?

I will be at Bapaume for the week 7th of June with a group of friends, and will possibly be having some R&R at Amiens on the Saturday or Sunday. It would be nice to see Isabelle again, having spent many enjoyable holidays based at the de le Paix.

Hey ho, off we go - medical OK - so Monday 31st to Calais, Tuesday to Talbot House for 2 nights, then Ieper until Monday 7th June, then Bapaume until Monday 14th. I'll put a seperate post for 'photo requests' if I can be of any help to anybody.

Thanks Les - I'll keep an eye out for any messages before I leave home next Monday.

I know I can access the web in the Municipal Library at Ieper (leaving on Monday morning 7th June), and then hopefully there might be a connection at Bapaume.

Hi John,

Spoke with Michel Duthoit this afternoon who said that Isabelle's cafe is normally open at weekends. Hope you have a good trip, raining here at present but an improving forecast for rest of week.

Regards,

Les
