Limehouse Memorial:

I drive past this Memorial everyday on public transport. In the past couple of years the Memorial has gone from looking somewhat sorry for itself to having been cleaned and a small "garden" put around it. As I cant get a clear view of it (and visiting it isnt possible) I have tried to find it on the Memorials Inventory webpages and have made a search on google but cnat find any reference to it.

Does anybody know anything about this memorial? Does it have a general commemoration or is it named?

General point not related directly to your question.

I drove past Gawsworth(Cheshire) War Memorial,which always looks immaculate, a couple of days ago and saw a few teenage boys doing a bit of tidying up i.e.laying or resetting the access steps.

I did wonder if they were on Community Service.
