Remembered Today:

Medical Evacuation Chain

Hello Pals,

Thanks to help from Members Joan & Terry I now know that my grandad, who was wounded on 15 Sep 1916 at Ginchy, was eventually evacuated to 10th Canadian Stationary Hospital, Sleaford, Sussex. However the record states it did not open for casualties until Nov 16. Are there any members who may have details of the cas evac/cas holding chain supporting the Guards Division for the Battle of Flers Courcelette???

Regards,

Martin
