HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 21 April , 2010 Share Posted 21 April , 2010 Yes it was either stamped as per Campaign Medals or in the case of some Indian Recipients engraved; as were earlier examples {pre 1914},it is not technically a WW1 Medal,neither is the GSM issued for Mesopotamia {Iraq etc};[Or the AGS awarded for WW1 period campaigns] but awarded for the various Campaigns that brewed up on the cessation of Hostilities in 1918.
