eparges Posted 18 April , 2010 Share Posted 18 April , 2010 Thought I'd show you one of my latest finds: a KVK with 'Füsilier Regiment 73 Spange' and its award. The award is named to 'Hans Sandvoss' from Hildesheim. In the chapter 'Langermark' Jünger mentions apon arriving at the frontline in the Dobschütz-Wald (near the canal near Boesinghe) that he encounters there the Kompanieführer of the 3.Co., 'Leutn. Sandvoss'. The info available (to me), name, first name, place of birth/residence, after the war travelling/working in South America etc., fits... Unfortunately, the lists of the KVK were distroyed during WW2, so I'll never be sure, unless... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
