historylover Posted 10 May , 2010 Share Posted 10 May , 2010 Hello Jim, I posted a question on the forum, part of which concerned War Diaries of the 10th Battalion of the DLI. I've followed the lead here. What do I do now? (This is really making me giddy. I hope it doesn't show.) I was interested in the War Diary of the 10th Division DLI April 1917. Am I able to read it - or excerpts - on line, or is it only available in the National Archives? I would appreciate your advice. Many thanks. keithmroberts Posted 10 May , 2010 Share Posted 10 May , 2010 Patricia The 10 DLI War Diary is not listed at present as available for download from the Archives. Therefore, unless a member here adds it to the lists above, it will only be available at Kew, or possibly also at the regimental museum. At Kew you can copy the diaries for 20p per page, or photograph them using a camera with the flash turned OFF. Keith EDIT Just seen your other thread. There is a link to a copy that you can obtain by sending a PM to another forum member.
