We have extensively researched much of the information available about him but one piece of essential detail has proven elusive. I am therefore writing to enquire whether anyone is visiting the northern France battlefields near the Villemontoire War Graves cemetary to the north east of Paris and just south of Soissons. It is unlikely that we will ever be in a position to travel there in person. We have several general photographs (downloaded from the web) but would dearly love a photograph of his headstone. If anyone is able to assist I could gladly provide fuller details.
