Hi folks I'm hoping someone on the boards may be able to open up other avenues of research - I realise this is a long shot.

My mum, before she passed away last year, was trying to locate the whereabouts of some cricket balls that were presented to her Grandfather Charles Hemmings, Corporal 1st Batt

East Surrey Rgt. later Sergeant between 1914 - 1918.

She had tried the regimental museum at Clandon Park, Guildford. These trophies were she remembered in the form of the match ball with a silver band commemorating man of the match and

match statistics. They were presented to my Great Grandfather Charles Hemmings and I just want to know if they are still out there somewhere. I'd really love to have a photo if anybody knows

of their whereabouts.

Best wishes,

Boilerman
