From later pages in the record, his service in the UK (after an initial period with the Motor Transport Depot) appears to have been with 128 Horse Transport Co.

128 Formed September 1914. Served as 12 Reserve Park. Did not proceed to France but was later converted into 19 Auxiliary HT Company and sent to Salonika.

Once overseas he seems to have been a couple of months at the Horse Transport and Supply Depot, before being posted to 60 Remount Supply Depot from 19-1-1918.

He ended up with the GHQ Motor Transport Company.
