Hi all,

Does anyone have this book ?

If so I'd appreciate a look-up for the 2/7th Royal Warwickshire Regiment.

Many thanks

Neil

There is very little in the entry on p 38:

'2/7th battalion (T.F) 182nd Brigade, 61st (2nd South Midland) Division: Arrived Remaisnil from Sibiville (6/11). To Fienvillers (15/11, Pernois (16/11). Herissart (17/11), Warloy (18/11).'

It does not appear as though the battalion had much of a role during the battle.

Many thanks Jack.

They were there but I can't find much info on them, hence I thought I'd try this look-up.

They weren't heavily involved until later on but I didn't know if the book would give anmy further detail than what I already know.

Thanks again

Neil

"Another acquisition, Neil?

A number of 9th King's men were transferred to the 2/7th Warwicks.

Ken"

I'm trying to put together some sort of write-up on a chap who's group is in my collection. It's easier said than done, with no Battalio, Regiment or Divisional history available.

I do have the War Diary which is my only source of information at the moment but that is vague in places.

If you need me to look-up any dates for your ex-KLR men give me a shout.

Neil
