Hello all i am trying to get as much info on the above as possible beleive he got an MM but not sure when or where also seems he has another number 354123 again not sure why this would be , any RAMC experts out there ?

There appears to be only 1 medal card with the National Archive, often a MM has a seperate card.

The London Gazette however has an entry for him - http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/307...upplements/7005 - for a Military Medal.

If you send me a private message I may have some of his medal details for you.

You may want to try RAMC Database in the "Other" section . The thread is run by BJay (Barbara). She seems to have the in on the RAMC.

Thanks both , the MM shows him as with the 1/3 East Lancs FARAMC , i think that means feild ambulance ? am i best to speak to the East Lancs museum ?

I have some service records from Kew but they seems incomplete ? can anyone have a look and see what they think , i wonder if they are better on line ?, there is a mention of the MM but the wording is blurred
