uncle bill Posted 21 February , 2010 Share Posted 21 February , 2010 Hello Given the recent spate of hooked quillon debates, I thought I'd add these pictures of one that I recently found near Bordeaux ?! It didn't have its scabbard, but the price was very good. I don't collect bayonets, they just go alog with my webbing sets...this will prpbabaly end up on ebay at some point...... HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 22 February , 2010 Share Posted 22 February , 2010 Examples of Hooked Quillion Bayonets can be seen "in use" in the 1960's BBC "The Great War" Series; disc concerned with the Somme & others...{I noticed them last night!}
