Max Posted 13 May , 2004 Share Posted 13 May , 2004 Could someone with access to the SDGW cd please do a lookup for me please? The details are: 270116 Pte T.O. Moses, 18th Bn D.L.I. died 19/7/1918. Also, being cheeky could I also have a lookup for 26503 Pte. A Barrass, 8th Bn. Loyal North Lancs Regt, died 1/8/1917. Many thanks in advance Andy

Max Posted 13 May , 2004 Author Share Posted 13 May , 2004 Hello Lee Thanks for that. You have just confirmed a remarkable coincidence. My friend and I have been in Ypres for the last few days. We knew about Thompson Moses and visited his grave. On Monday we were looking around Hooge Crater Cemetery and my friend, who is called Barrass, noticed the grave of Pte Barrass, mused that he might be related and paid his respects. You have just confirmed that he is in fact my friends Great Uncle...I can't wait to phone him....he will be as astounded as I am. Andy
