malch Posted 31 December , 2009 Share Posted 31 December , 2009 Below is the MIC of Robert J Ablitt. He was a regular 1899-1907 and mobilized from the reserve in August 1914. He was wounded on 22/10/14 and returned to Home Service for the rest of the war. He was eventually discharged under KR392(XVI) on 16/11/1918. His medal index card has a curious entry I have not seen before - "Trans: In P. 6/3/17" There is no corresponding entry on his service record. Does anyone know what this may mean ? Thanks M

Don Posted 1 February , 2021 Share Posted 1 February , 2021 Hello, While I was updating my Hospital Records, I came across GNR Robert Ablitt 944 RFA .. He was admitted to Richmond Hospital Dublin (Shell Shock Hospital) on the 27th October 1914 and Transferred to Military Police.
