M.A.Stewart Posted 22 December , 2009 Posted 22 December , 2009 Hi everyone, My great-grandfather, Cpl. George Andrew Stewart, served in 15th Scottish Rifles from at least December 1917 to May 1918. This was a "home service" battalion, formed at Deal, Kent on 1 January 1917 from the 10th (Provisional) Scottish Rifles. I haven't been able to find that much information on either of these battalions (perhaps unsurprisingly, as they never served overseas), but if anyone does have any further information about these two units, I would be very pleased to hear from you. Best wishes, Marc
