elmhirst Posted 15 December , 2009 Share Posted 15 December , 2009 I am researching a family member killed on 15/5/18 while serving in this unit which was part of the Divisional Artillery of the 30th British Division. He is buried now in Cabaret Rouge BMC. I am trying to trace the movements of the unit and also to find out more about the weapons with which it was armed. I understand that the Newton 6 ins mortar had recently been introduced and can find no details about it. Any information about the Division, Battery and its armament at that time would be very useful.
