Guest ChrisChild Posted 10 December , 2009 Posted 10 December , 2009 Would anyone have any information on Edward Crozier Creasy c1888 – 1936. RFA Att 58th Rfls IA From his obituary in The Times, November 26 1936, Major Edward Crozier Creasy died at Bedford on November 22 at the age of 48. He was the son of Edward Creasy and was born in Ceylon. The obituary says he will be remembered by those of the forces who served during the Upper Silesian Plebiscite, 1920 -21 as liaison between the Allied Forces Headquarters and General Von Hoefer, the leader of the German Irregular Forces, which were raised to oppose Korfanty.
sotonmate Posted 10 December , 2009 Posted 10 December , 2009 CC You can read his service file at the National Archives Kew,filed under WO339/8780 and closed in 1937,so obviously covers the advice of his death to the War Office. It's not on line and needs to be read in situ,or a request to copy it forwarded to Kew. Sotonmate
