ooooh! I was there is a fantastic collection.

It was a magazine that was produced in the 1930's that take into account eye witness accounts of the Great War.

Becoming scare and expensive to procure these days.

Have you anything on 9th Bn, Rifle Brigade, especially 15th September 1916? Friend at work interested as his Grandfather fell then.

Hi Mandy,

As Fleur says it is a fantastic collection of eye witness accounts and personal recollections by old soldiers who served. I will check to see if there is anything on the 9th RBs for you and am going to scan a few pages and e mail to you.

i managed to get a set that was unbound and in thier wrappers, the letters on the inside covers are particulary interesting as are the heartfelt requests for old comrades.

Stiletto,

If you can, I'd like to know if there is anything on 4th Bedfords and 7th Northants, from summer 1917 onwards.

Thanks in advance,

Gloria

Andy,

I think you know what I am going to ask.

Is there any recollections etc to the 21st and 24th divisions and the use of them at Loos in 1915.

regards
