Guest russellline Posted 5 May , 2004 Share Posted 5 May , 2004 My uncle, Private Charles Walter Harris died during WW2 on 21st August 1944. All I know is that he served under the 1/6th Bn., The Queen's Royal Regt (West Surrey) and is rememered in the Bayeux Memorial. I would like to learn a bit about his past and would appreciate any details about the regiment he served in. Regards Russell
