hen190782 Posted 9 December , 2009 Posted 9 December , 2009 To anyone with an interest in the coverage of medical treatment in WW1. I have an extensive article from the August 1915 Belfast Telegraph which relates to the action in the Ypres Saliant for which Lt. (later Major) William McMeekin Chesney was awarded the Military Cross in 1915. If anyone wants a copy of the article, drop me a message with your email address and I will forward a jpeg of the article. WM Chesney was related the the military engineer, Francis Rawden Chesney, who first demonstrated the feasibility of connecting the Med and the Red seas via a canal across the Suez isthmus! Nigel
