I have been fortunate to receive permission to publish three sets of photographs of North Irish Horsemen. Most were taken during the war, but some before and one in 1921. There are some great images among them, such as these two:

Pals can view all the pictures at Image Gallery. Click on the 'North Irish Horsemen' thumbnail, scroll down to 'the 'George Dodds Collection' and 'Dervock Collection' and click on any thumbnail for a larger view. Then go back to the Image Gallery and click on 'Before the War' for the Houston Graham collection.

Some of the badges in the George Dodds images are clearly not NIH, so any help identifying them would be appreciated.

I have an original postcard of No. 2 Troop `C` Squadron North Irish Horse at Antrim camp. The caption is not clear might be `D` Squadron.

The only soldier identified is Frederic J. Lindsay from Drumlamph, Bellaghy, Co. L/Derry.

He is standing back row 4th from left - the tallest in the group - believed to be 6`7".

Hoping this is of interest to you.

James
