stevem49 Posted 7 December , 2009 Posted 7 December , 2009 As mentioned 12795 Was very likely a 9th bn Man - 12794 was L/Cpl Illiffe and 12796 was Pte Brindley. I am 99% sure he was 9th and will add him to nominal roll. 21729 Pte Arthur Slim was in the 9th Bn (again I have no Cade) SM

stevem49 Posted 8 December , 2009 Posted 8 December , 2009 I have the 10th Bn war diary somewhere! Go to my website www.ypressalient.co.uk and there you will find my email address. I can then send you a copy of the War Diaries for July. Soldiers died in the Great War - has - Sykes, R.W. - born Ilkeston Derbyshire, enlisted Nottingham, abode Spondon Derbys, 17197, Cpl, Killed in action, France and Flanders, 7/7/1916. You could look for his records on Ancestry and also his Medal Index Card or start a new thread and someone who is on Ancestry would likely look for you. Steve M
