I have been researching my father's Army career( Major Naden RA ) who died in 1996 aged 84. He showd me photographs of his great uncle Frank Naden who I believe was in the Cheshire regiment. I know he had connections in Stockport. My father mentioned he had received 2 bar DSO, but I am not sure if he received the Military Cross. Can any one enlighten me on this subject

thankyou

There is a thread about Frank (Cheshires) and, I assume, your Frank Naden here: http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...75&hl=naden

There are threads about other Nadens (unusual name so may be relatives) here: http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...75&hl=naden and http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...09&hl=naden

and quite a few references to other Nadens if you put the name into the Search box but, as far as I can see, nothing yet on John Alfred Naden.
